Zachary Michael Jung passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. He was only 31 years old. The son of Mike and Louise (Kamphaus) Jung was born on November 15, 1988 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
The 2007 East Central HS grad was an outdoors kind of guy, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially liked spending time with his nephew Wesson and taking him out to feed the catfish in the pond. Zach always loved hanging around and being with his family and friends. He is dearly loved by many and will be truly missed forever.
Zach will be dearly missed by his parents, Mike and Louise Jung; brother, Caleb Jung; sister and brother-in-law, Mallory & Christopher Doherty; nephew, Wesson Michael Doherty; Grandmother, Jacqueline (Hardiman) Jung; aunts and uncles, Deron & Lori (Mendall) Beebe, Donald & Stephanie Kamphaus, Russell & Edwina Callan, and Harold Brinkman; in addition to many cousins on the Jung, Beebe and Porter sides of the family.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5-7pm followed by a Memorial service at 7:00pm, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Rev. Brian Dunaway officiating.
Continuing with COVID-19 precautions and state mandates, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and wear a mask. If you are not feeling well, or if you have compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.
