(Laurel, IN) – A Laurel woman was arrested Thursday morning on drug and trespassing charges.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received a report of a possible theft from a home on West Commerce Street in Laurel shortly after 10:30 am.
The people overseeing the residence told investigators that it appeared someone forcibly entered a shed on the property.
A woman later identified as 43-year-old Deborah Weber was spotted in the area.
Deputies determined that she had been on the property without permission but that no items were taken.
Weber was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.
