(Decatur County, IN) – An unidentified woman was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a crash on the 2800 block of State Road 3 near the North Decatur school campus overnight.
This is the second serious wreck in that area in as many weeks.
The woman reportedly suffered critical injuries after her vehicle slammed into a utility pole.
North Decatur Elementary and Jr./Sr. High were originally on a two-hour delay on Monday morning because of the resulting power outage but ended up closing for the day; South Decatur school buildings were not affected and began at the regular time.
No other information about the crash was available.
