Woman arrested after Columbus officers find over 100 THC-laced brownies

COLUMBUS, IN — A Columbus woman has been arrested after police found more than 100 THC-laced brownies in her home.

Columbus Police officers noticed the smell of marijuana while patrolling a neighborhood due to recent complaints about criminal activity in the area, and got a search warrant for the home of 37-year-old Courtney James.

She was arrested after officers discovered a large amount of brownies with THC in them.

Police say they also found marijuana cigarettes, loose marijuana, and syringes in the home.

James is charged with Dealing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Law Enforcement.

She is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail.
