(Southeastern IN) – The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Midnight.
Additional snow is expected today on top what we received Sunday and overnight into Monday.
Forecasters say anywhere from 1 to 3 additional inches of accumulation are possible.
Ripley, Franklin and Decatur counties were under RED, or Warning travel advisories, as of Monday morning. That’s the highest level, which means travel is restricted to emergency management workers only.
Dearborn County was under an Orange, or Watch local travel advisory. That means only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.

Snowfall totals across the area as of Monday morning included 6.8 inches near St. Leon, 5 inches in Greensburg, 4.9 near Lake Santee, 4,8 inches in the Laurel area, and 4.7 inches in Batesville.
In addition, it will also be bitterly cold over the next several days. High temperatures will be in the 20s but the wind chill values will make it feel like it’s in the teens.
Overnight temperatures are expected to be in the single digits through Thursday night.
