Wilma I. Buening, 78, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, April 7, 1938 in Decatur County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John B. and Viola A. (Tichenor) Brancamp. Wilma graduated from Napoleon High School in 1955. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg and a member of the St. Lawrence Ladies Auxiliary. She was married to William E. Buening on June 24, 1958 and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2013. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Lisa) Buening, Nineveh, Kenny (Nancy) Buening, Greensburg; three daughters, Theresa Caffee, Greensburg, Janet (Bob) Henry, Batesville, Katrina (Rickey) Applegate, North Vernon; two sisters, Norma (Bob) Schreiner, Shelbyville, Dorothy (Frank) Schreiner, Greensburg; eighteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two son-in-laws, Junior Bowling and Bill Caffee; four brothers, John Brancamp, Leo Brancamp, Paul Brancamp, Clarence Brancamp; three sisters, Lillian Huff, Mary Ann Voiles, Pauline Fromer. Family and friends will gather at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow the rosary until 5:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen. Memorials may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or to the St. Mary’s Church Building Fund.
