William Douglas Lostutter, 57, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 5:50 AM, Friday, February 26th, 2016 at the home of his mother. Doug was born in Batesville, IN on August 23, 1958, a son of Edith (Ellis) Lostutter, of Rising Sun, IN and the late William Donald Lostutter. He grew up in Ohio County and was a 1976 graduate of Rising Sun High School. He worked in security and groundskeeping at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN. He also had worked for Seagrams Distillery for 25 years. Doug was a member of the Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years.
Doug is survived by a son, William Tyler Lostutter, of Dillsboro, IN; by his mother Edith Lostutter of Rising Sun, IN; by grandchildren Caitlyn and Brantley; by two sisters, Beverly Fugate (Bill) of London, OH and Sandra Goodman (Allen) of Bright, IN; by two nephews, Bill and Brent Fugate and by a great niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father William Donald Lostutter.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, February 29 at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Allen Goodman officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home.
