William D. “Doug” Horn, 58, Versailles

William D. “Doug” Horn, 58, of Versailles passed away Friday, April 3, 2026, at his home. Doug was born on Sunday, November 26, 1967, in Lawrenceburg; son of Wayne and Joyce (Patrick) Horn. He worked as a jailer for Ripley County Sheriff’s Office and previously worked at DeVille’s Pharmacy in Dillsboro. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Holton. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, and looking for mushrooms and ginseng. He also loved playing cards and spending time with his family.

Doug will be missed by his daughter Tiffany Horn of Osgood; “Brownie” (fur brother); mother Joyce Horn of Madison; brothers Jeff (Tanya) Horn of Holton and Daniel (Lisa) Horn of Batesville; sisters Melissa (Dwight) Manlief of West Port and Catina (Robert) Kaiser of Madison; mother of Tiffany: Patricia (David) Holman of Osgood; and many nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his father Wayne Horn; brothers; and sisters.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Doug from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Chad Schwering officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Doug to the American Diabetes Association.
