Wesley “Butch” Fryer, 58, of Milan passed Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Butch was born on Tuesday, July 9, 1963 in Ohio, the son of Ben and Mary (Snedaker) Fryer. Butch worked for Sheets & Sons Enterprises in Versailles, Indiana and where he was a truck driver and a mechanic. Butch could often be found outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing, and he also enjoyed racing. Butch loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Butch is survived by his wife Samantha Fryer; companion Sheila Grevenstuk of Milan; daughters Leslie Ridner and Erica Bruening; stepsons Tim (Louann) Grevenstuk of Aurora and Brandon Grevenstuk; stepdaughters Jennifer Kinder of Warsaw and Heather Shell of Elkhart; brothers Benjamin Fryer and Michael Fryer; sisters Kathryn Murray and Jennifer Smith; granddaughter Alexis Ahaus; grandsons Isiaih Thomas and Jayden Ridner; and twenty-four grandchildren.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mary, son Wesley Fryer, and sister Mary Rose Neely.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Butch from 10 – 11 AM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 11 AM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Butch to the VFW hall in Milan.
