Greensburg, IN — The Greensburg Decatur County Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting last evening. Like everything else in 2020, the meeting took on a new form as it went virtual instead of its normal celebrations at the Indiana Grand Racing and Casino location.
Three awards were given out during the meeting. The awards presentation was pre-recorded in a surprise meeting and then the video was played during Thursday’s presentation of the 2020 Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony. The prestigious Don Horan Community Service Leader of the Year award went to Tami Wenning.
Other award winners for the evening included Entrepreneur of the Year Kelby Owens for his business Phase Financial, LLC. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Craig Houk, known as “The Golden Boy” for his past professional boxing career and being the founder of the Indiana Boxing Hall of Fame. Houk is a professional bartender in Carmel and showed the audience how to make 3 drinks to enjoy for the evening.
