Wanda Louise Huelson, age 84 of Versailles, IN, passed away early Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 at her home with family by her side. She was born the daughter of Lester A. and Lavina Edith Henneke Hawley on October 4, 1932 in Carmel, Indiana. Wanda married Joseph Fields, and to this union, seven children were born. Later in her life, she married Norman L. Huelson in August of 1980. She and Norman enjoyed traveling throughout the US and also had traveled to Europe. On July 31, 2009, Norman preceded her in death.
Wanda had worked as the Registrar for the Ripley County Health Department from the 1970’s to the middle 1980’s. Past memberships included the New Marion Baptist Church and the Ripley County Homemakers Club. She loved doing volunteer work for Meals on Wheels in Ripley County. Water-color painting, gardening, and cooking were things that she was especially talented in. She was a wonderful mother who had worked very hard raising her seven children and was very proud of all of her family!

She was preceded in death by one great grandchild.
Visitation and funeral will be held on same day, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Neal’s Funeral Home. Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with funeral starting at 7:00 pm.
The family request that memorial donations be made to Mud Pike Cemetery c/o the funeral home.
Burial will be at the family’s convenience.
