Charley Harper was a Cincinnati-based American modernist artist best known for his highly stylized wildlife prints, posters and book illustrations. His son, Brett Harper, will speak about growing up in such a talented household. This portion of the event will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lawrenceburg Event Center, located at 91 Walnut Street in downtown Lawrenceburg. A number of items from the Harper shop will also be available to purchase. Both events are sponsored by the Lawrenceburg Modern Quilt Guild.
