VERSAILLES, Ind. — Saturday at the Versailles State Park is the 10th annual Versailles Polar Plunge.
WRBI’s very own Caz Burdette will be participating in this year’s plunge!
Residents of Ripley, Ohio, and Dearborn Counties are participating to raise money and awareness for Speical Olympics Indiana.
On-site registration will take place on the boat ramp at the park beginning at 11:30 with participants lining up to take the plunge into the lake at 2:00 PM.
To participate, individuals must raise a “bear” minimum of $75 for Speical Olympics Indiana.
Awards will be presented to top fundraising teams and individuals.
If you are interested in supporting the event but don’t want to get wet, you can register as a virtual plunger, or can participate in the Polar Climb 5k Run or 3k walk, which will begin at 11:00 AM.
To date over $3 million has been raised for Special Olympics Indiana.
