Versailles, IN — The Town of Versailles has been awarded a $346,823 Community Crossing Matching Grant from the State of Indiana.
The town will use the funds to complete a resurfacing and storm sewer project on South Main Street from US 50 to State Road 129.
The contractor for the project is Dave ‘O Mara. Construction is expected to start this week and run through November.
The project will require sections of the road to be closed for periods of time.
Motorists are urged to pay attention to signs and be vigilant while traveling through the work zone to ensure the safety of workers, other drivers, and pedestrians.
The schedule is subject to change and all work is weather dependent.
