(Versailles, IN) – Versailles town leaders are pursuing a $750,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) to complete needed water system repairs.
This comes following the completion of a year-long utility study.
Town officials are asking for public comments on the project during an engagement session on Wednesday, February 11 at 6 p.m. at the town hall.
You can also do so through this survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/versailleswater.
Information about the project and the survey link will also be included in the March water bills…
Meanwhile, what’s being called a “Big Ideas Open House” will be held next Wednesday, February 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Versailles Town Hall for residents to share thoughts going into the final stages of the town’s first-ever comprehensive plan.
The draft vision, goals, and recommendations will be available for review.
Town officials say it’s your chance to provide feedback.
