UPDATE: The Franklin County Water Association has lifted the Boil Advisory for customers on U.S, 52 between Little Cedar and Big Cedar roads.

The advisory was issued following a water main break late Thursday night.

(Franklin County, IN) – Franklin County Water Association customers along U.S. 52 between Little Cedar and Big Cedar roads are under a Boil Advisory until further notice.

The advisory was issued following a water main break that happened in the area late Thursday night.

A boil advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.

It is recommended that you boil all water used for drinking and for food preparation for two minutes.

Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
