(Greensburg, IN) – Two new Greensburg police officers have joined the force.
Paige Parsons and Curtis Keppel were administered the oath to protect and serve the Tree City by Mayor Joshua Marsh at this week’s Greensburg Board of Works meeting.
Both Parsons and Keppel are slated to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy sometime this year before returning to Greensburg to work with a field training officer.
They’ll be on probationary status for the next year.
Both of the new officers are local residents.
They were presented to the Board for swearing-in by Police Chief Mike McNealy.
The city decided late last year to hold police officer swearing-in ceremonies at Board of Works meetings. They had been previously held during the day.
The Greensburg Board of Works meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
