Batesville, Ind. — The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department awarded two Batesville High School graduates with scholarships.
Jonathan Kunkel and Matthew Lents both earned $1,000 scholarships to pursue a career in criminal justice. The awards are funded by the Mums for Education Project at the Ripley County Jail.
Sheriff Jeff Cumberworth wishes both men the best of luck.
