Travis Wade Coons, 15

Travis Wade Coons, 15, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Heritage Lake in Putnam County, Indiana.  Born, August 8, 2004 in Louisville, KY, he was the son Chasity Coons.  Travis had just completed 9^th grade at North Decatur High School.  He really enjoyed music, taekwondo, and like most kids he loved YouTube, he even had his own channel.  Travis belonged to the New Beginnings Church in Greensburg.  He was a great kid and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.  He is survived by his mother and her boyfriend; Chasity Coons and Michael Williams, sister; Madisynn Williams, brother; Wyatt Williams, grandfather; Tony Cowins, grandparents; Andrew and Teresa Williams, great grandmother; Mildred J. Williams, uncle; Mike Trautman, uncle and aunt; Josh (Amber) McKinley, uncle; Zack Cowins, aunt; Brittney Day, and uncle; Michael Paul Phillips.  He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; Boin and Jane Cain, and Art and Pat Cowins.  Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 4 – 6:30 pm following CDC guidelines for social distancing.  Funeral Services will start at 6:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials can be made to the family through the funeral home.
