Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

(Laurel, IN) – A traffic stop in Laurel on Thursday led to a woman’s arrest on drug charges.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy spotted an equipment violation on a vehicle and pulled it over near Old U.S. 52 and State Road 121.

During the stop, deputies say they detected and spotted illegal substances and related items.

Wendy Isaacs was arrested following the investigation.

Isaacs was taken to the Franklin County Security Center where she is facing preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 felony) and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).
