Timothy Roberts, 54, Metamora

 

On Thursday, August 13, 2020, Pastor Tim Roberts stepped through the Gates of Heaven, and the Lord looked up and said, “How Precious.”

Tim was born January 1, 1966 in Connersville, Indiana one of five children born to the late John Sr. & Josephine (Russell) Roberts.  On July 21, 1984 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Carol Collins.

He had been employed for 24 years at Batesville Casket Company until his health no longer allowed him to work.  Tim was Pastor of Trinity Full Gospel Holiness Church in Metamora, Indiana.  He was a member of the Eastern Indiana Pentecostal Fellowship.  In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and church family.

Besides Carol, his loving wife of 36 years, survivors include three sons, Timothy (Heather) Roberts of Metamora, Indiana, Kevin (Courtney) Roberts of West Harrison, Indiana, and Andrew (Johnna) Roberts of Metamora, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Aidan, Carson, Jackson, Gavin (Croucher), Haylee, Devin, Hudson, Quinton, Reagan, Shaylynn, Colton (Collins); also surviving are those that he loved as his own children, Amanda Hook, Zach (Cheyenne) Collins and Clairice Venter; a sister, Anita (Jim) Wells of Metamora, Indiana, three brothers, Leroy (Bonnie) Roberts of Laurel, Indiana, John Jr. (Donna) Roberts and Lonnie (Kami) Roberts all of Metamora, Indiana; his mother-in-law, Mary Collins of Metamora, Indiana,  as well as several nieces & nephews and many, many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Anthony Roberts; his father in law, Kermit Collins, as well as his dear friend, Cecil R. Wilson.

Rev. Glen Goins and Rev. Wade Hicks will officiate the Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Full Gospel Holiness Church, 20015 Haytown Road, Metamora.  Burial will then follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery in Metamora.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Trinity Full Gospel Holiness Church in Metamora.
