Lawrenceburg successfully defended its Madison Volleyball Invitational championship Saturday. The Lady Tigers were undefeated in four matches including topping the host Cubs 25-18, 25-17 in the title tilt.
South Ripley had a good day and took home third place. The Raiders only blemish in four matches was a 2-1 loss to the Tigers during pool play. LHS won 25-23, 22-25 and 15-7.
Franklin County also competed and went 1-2. The Wildcats one W was a 2-1 decision over South Dearborn: 22-25, 25-23 and 15-9.
