Friday night in boys varsity basketball on the Sports Voice, Lawrenceburg’s defense dialed it up against Batesville in the second half, holding the Bulldogs to 10 points.
The Tigers turned a one-point halftime lead (15-14) into eight by the end of the third and went on to win 43-24.
For LHS, Jackson Bobo led the floor with 20 points. He had 14 in the second half. Younger brother Cooper scored 11.
For Batesville, Cole Pride scored six, all of which came in the third quarter. Cody Mohr and Eli Pierson both put in five. Pierson’s points came in the first half where he led the team in scoring at intermission.
Lawrenceburg also won the JV game 46-26.
Conner Drake scored eight and Jack Grunkemeyer had seven for the Batesville reserves.
