The Greensburg boys basketball established an early lead on visiting South Ripley Saturday night, taking a six-point lead after one quarter, on their way to a 54-42 win. The Pirates led by nine at halftime and by 13 at the end of the third quarter. Jack McKinsey poured in a season-high 24 points to top all scorers in the game. The Pirates led comfortably throughout the second half. The Pirates improve to 15-7 overall and 5-1 in the EIAC. Greensburg remains outside of conference play when they return to action Tuesday night when they travel to North Decatur. The Pirates will then wrap up the regular season with an opportunity to clinic an EIAC championship Friday night at home against East Central.
