Teenager injured in Franklin County crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — An Ohio teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Franklin County Sunday morning.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Nicole Foster, 16, of Oxford, Ohio was driving south on State Line Road, when for unknown reasons, her vehicle ran off the roadway striking a tree.

Emergency crews responded to the call around 9:25 am Sunday morning.

Police say after striking the tree, her vehicle rolled onto its top and came to rest in the ditch line.

Foster told crews the last thing she recalled was seeing the tree coming and when she regained consciousness, the vehicle was on its top.

She was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
