Suspected ‘Queen City’ Fentanyl intercepted in central Indiana

Columbus, In. — Two people were arrested on several felony drug-related charges after a traffic stop was conducted by Columbus police officers early Wednesday morning.

Narcotics detectives arrested Ryan S. Redmon, 27, of Hope, as well as Sasha N. Armitage, 28, of Columbus after the officers located several grams of the dangerous drug, fentanyl, in their possession.

Investigators believe that Redmon and Armitage traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio where they picked up the fentanyl.  The two were stopped with the drugs in the possession on their way back to Columbus.

Both were transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where they remain incarcerated on a 48-hour hold on the following preliminary charges:

Ryan Redmon:  dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a legend drug injection device, Bartholomew County warrant for probation violation, trafficking with an inmate, possession of drug paraphernalia

Sasha Armatige: dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a legend drug injection device, possession of drug paraphernalia
