(Sunman, IN) – The Town of Sunman is out with a reminder about curfew guidelines.
Officials say curfews are in place seven days a week to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, especially young people.
For those 13 and younger, the curfew is in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Curfew hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for those aged 14 to 17.
Violations can result in fines ranging from $100 to $500 per violation.
Sunman Community Park closes at dusk each night and youth must be accompanied by an adult after curfew hours kick in.
Any property damage included will result in larger fines, as well as the cost to repair or replace the damaged property.
