Sunman, In. — Sunman Dearborn Community Schools have announced plans to add an additional school resource officer next year. The school corporation will have a total of two full-time officers to enhance security and safety for students.
The district will also add a third officer from the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department on a rotation basis. Talks are underway to add a sheriff’s department substation in the district as well.
