
(Osgood, IN) – Onika Struewing was crowned Miss Ripley County 2025 at Sunday night’s pageant held at the Damm Theater in Osgood.
“I’m so excited and I’m so proud that I get to represent my county. I just love it here,”Struewing said.
She’s a 2023 graduate of Batesville High School and is an incoming senior at Ball State University, where she is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Event Planning and Hospitality.
In addition to reigning over the upcoming 4-H Fair, Struewing will represent Ripley County at the Miss Indiana State Fair Pageant, and take part in a variety of events around the county in the coming year.
Struewing also won the Professional Wear Award.
Callie Comer was chosen 1st runner up and Miss Congeniality; 2nd runner up is Shelby Williams; Cheyenne Cullen was named 3rd runner up, and Hailey Kunz was selected as 4th runner up.
Comer also won the People’s Choice Award. The audience voted for this award with monetary contributions in the theater lobby.
Proceeds go to assist foster families in Ripley County. A total of $926 was raised by the contestants.
Cullen also won the Formal Wear Award.
Bonnie Hoffrogge received the Kindness Award and Kompassion Scholarship, which are given by the pageant for the kindness and compassion she displayed throughout the queen pageant activities.
The award and scholarship were created in 2019 in memory of the late Kristy Sams, who served on the queen pageant committee.
This year’s Ripley County 4-H Fair begins Sunday, July 20 and runs through Saturday, July 26 at the Fairgrounds in Osgood.
A total of seven contestants took part in this year’s Miss Ripley County Pageant.
