Southeastern IN — We dodged a bullet.

That’s the assessment from local Emergency Management Agency directors after strong to severe storms rolled through the area Monday afternoon.

All four counties in WRBI’s primary coverage area were placed under Tornado Warnings at various times after weather radar indicated rotation.

There were no reports of touchdowns or structural damage, but trees and power lines came down throughout the area.

Franklin County EMA reported an inch-and-a-quarter to an inch-and-three-quarter-sized hail in the Cedar Grove and Mt. Carmel areas.

Quite a few roads around Southeastern Indiana were blocked by downed trees.

Just about everyone who lost power because of the storms had service restored as of Monday evening.
