Both Whitewater Memorial State Park and Mounds State Recreation area have partnered with Franklin County Libraries and Union County Library for StoryWalk. This brings a story from the libraries to the forests of Brookville Lake and Whitewater Memorial State Park.
Mounds State Recreation Area will feature the Storywalk on the Wildlife Wander Trail. The trail is a ¾ mile, easy loop, and will feature the story Owl Moon by Jane Yolen, illustrated by John Schoenherr.
Whitewater Memorial State Park will feature the Storywalk at the Youth Campground. The trail is ¼ mile, easy/paved loop, and will feature the story Winter is Here by Kevin Henkes, illustrated by Laura Dronzek.
