If you ever were lucky enough to meet Steven, you had a friend for life. He always had a smile on his face and a hug to offer anyone. Steven found joy in anything he did, and he loved to make people laugh and smile. He participated in several Special Olympics, even winning 1st place a few years in a row! Steven loved country music, watching western movies, motorcycles, playing Bingo and spending time with his family. He overcame great adversities in his life, and always kept a positive and happy attitude. To those he leaves behind, may they will always remember his fighting spirit, his jokes and laughter and his wonderful ability to find the best in any situation.
He is survived by his mothers, Vickie Ward and Cindy Garcia; three sisters, Micki Ward, Brandi (Ward) Stewart and Kristy (Ward) Hirt; ten nieces and nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew. Steven was proceeded in death by his father, Steven Milo Ward Sr., his sister Michelle Ward, his brother Michael Ward and also several grandparents.
Private graveside services will be held at St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery (Huntersville). Meyers Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Arbor Grove Activity Fund, 1021 East Central Ave., Greensburg, In 47240.
