State changing to percent of capacity for advisory levels

Statewide — On Wednesday during Governor Eric Holcomb’s Covid-19 weekly press briefing, he provided an update on the COVID-19 response and vaccination effort.

Holcomb said the state is seeing good signs as the positivity rate and hospitalizations are going down, but that we still need to maintain vigilance.

The latest executive order for February 1 through February 28 adjusts crowd levels at social gatherings and events depending on a county’s color level.

• Red or Orange – May not exceed a 25 percent capacity
• Yellow – May not exceed a 50 percent capacity
• Blue – May be at a 100 percent capacity

Safety plans for social gatherings and events

• Must include the number of invited, requested, or expected attendees and staff
• Plan must be submitted to the local health department
• Plan must include occupancy and capacity information, Covid screening and social distancing measures, increased sanitation, face coverings, and compliance
