Stanley Thomas Trammell, age 60 of Blooming Grove, Indiana died Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Morriston, Florida.
Born August 27, 1958 in Connersville, Indiana he was the son of the late Stanley & Tressie (Baker) Trammell. On July 16, 1977 at St. Peters Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Julie Hoog, and she survives.
Tom had been employed at the former Philco Ford/Visteon in Connersville and later was self-employed. He never met a stranger; and had an outgoing and generous personality. He especially loved his grandchildren.
He enjoyed hosting benefits & poker runs for those in need. He also enjoyed motorcycles and riding his Slingshot, and spending time in the Florida sun.
Besides Julie his wife of over 41 years, survivors include four sons, Josh, Jeremy (Mariah), Chris (Lori), Cody (Jordan) Trammell all of Brookville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Izabelle and Jesse of Batesville, Gavin & Grady, Camden & Luke all of Brookville; four sisters, Verna Horn, Darlene (Al) Boston, Diane (Jim) Reese, Joyce (Steve) Monroe, all of Brookville, Indiana; and a brother, Bill (Becky) Trammell of Brookville, Indiana.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Ray and a granddaughter, Bailey Lynn.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
