(Washington, D.C.) – The price of a postage stamp is going up again.
The cost of a “Forever” stamp will rise from 63 to 66 cents starting tomorrow.
It’s the second price hike this year and the fifth since 2019.
The U.S. Postal Service announced the latest price bumps in April, citing higher operating expenses fueled by inflation.
This is also part of the post office’s 10-year plan to stop losing money and increase revenue.
It will also cost more to send a postcard.
That will jump from 48 to 51 cents.
And sending a letter overseas will be hiked from $1.45 to $1.50.
