The St. Louis Girls 7th Grade Lady Cardinals defeated Milan 27-8. The Lady Cardinals used their press to generate turnovers and jump to a 7-2 1st quarter lead. The Lady Cardinals continued the defensive pressure as they generated turnover after turnover but we unable to get many shots to fall. They took a 11-2 halftime lead. The 3rd quarter was a repeat of the second as the Lady Cardinals were unable to get many easy shots to fall but were still able to hold on to a 14-7 lead. The 4th quarter was a different story as The Lady Cardinals went on a 13-1 run to end the game. The Lady Cardinals were led in scoring by Ava Becker with 11 points, Aubrey Baker with 8 points, Mary Kara Wanstrath with 6 points and Sophia Leising with 2 points.
