(Franklin County, IN) – INDOT closed State Road 252 west of Scipio in eastern Franklin County on Wednesday to complete a box culvert replacement project.
The closure is between Dickson and Drewersburg roads.
252 is expected to reopen in early August, weather permitting.
The official detour route follows U.S. 52 to I-74 to Ohio 128 to State Road 252.
INDOT says this project is part of a $1.7 million contract awarded to Morphey Construction in December 2024.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
