The Kansas City Royals bounced the Reds 7-1 last night at Great American Ball Park. KC held a 3-1 lead heading into the top of the 9th but plated four runs in the frame to break the game open. Tyler Stephenson accounted for the Reds only run with an RBI double that scored Jonathan India in the 6th inning. Former Red Michael Lorenzen started for the Royals and notched the win. The Indiana Fever topped the Phoenix Mercury 98-89 in WNBA action at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Caitlin Clark led the way with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell drained six 3-pointers and racked up 28. Two others finished in double figures for Indianapolis. With the win, The Fever improves to 12-15 on the year and completes the three-game season series sweep of Phoenix.
