East Central rolled over South Dearborn 63-26 in a girls basketball game heard last night on WRBI. It was the season opener for both teams.

Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team’s 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders last Sunday. The man known as “Big Play Trey” had a career-high four sacks, a forced fumble and one pass defensed…The Bengals are in Baltimore tonight for a Thursday Night Football AFC North matchup with the Ravens. Kickoff is at 8:15.

The family of Pete Rose will host a 14-hour memorial visitation at Great American Ball Park on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The free event is open to the public and will be a time for fans of the “Hit King” to come together, honor his legacy, and say their goodbyes before Rose’s family lays him to rest privately.

The Pacers beat the Orlando Magic 118-111 last night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indiana improves to 4-4.
