In high school football regional action heard last night on WRBI, Will Jaisle’s 10-yard touchdown pass to Damien Dance with 11.5 seconds remaining lifted Batesville over Tri-West, 41-37 in the Class 3A Regional 15 championship game at the Dawg Pound. I’ts the Bulldogs’ first regional crown since 1986. 9-3 Batesville will play at Heritage Hills next week in the Class 3A South semi-state for the right to play in the state title game Thanksgiving weekend…Elsewhere, Decatur Central eliminated East Central 21-16 in the Class 5A Regional 7 game also heard on WRBI. The Trojans finish the season at 8-4…And Providence knocked off Milan 28-10 in the Class 1A Regional 24 contest. The Indians end the year with an 8-5 record.
