Greensburg senior Jack McKinsey scored his 1,000th career point in Tuesday’s sectional opener against Batesville. McKinsey joins South Ripley’s Blaine Ward, Batesville’s Cade Kaiser and Milan’s Micah Norman among area players in reaching the milestone this season.
In the NBA, the Hawks beat the Pacers 124-118 in Atlanta in a game heard last night on WRBI. Paskal Siakim led all scorers with 35 points in a losing effort for Indiana. The Pacers drop to 35-26 on the season. They’ll play the Hawks again tomorrow night in Atlanta.

Multiple media outlets are reporting the Bengals have granted All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson permission to seek a trade. Hendrickson was the NFL’s sack leader this past season.
The Colts have released defensive tackle Raekwon Davis. He was signed by Indianapolis as an unrestricted free agent a year ago this month and is a five-year veteran who started his career with the Miami Dolphins. Davis played in all 17 games during the 2024 regular season.
