March Madness tips tonight for the Purdue Boilermakers, who are getting ready for their first round matchup against Queens in St. Louis. Purdue head coach Matt Painter says his team will need to be physical against the Royals. Boilermaker senior point guard Braden Smith is close to making history. He needs just two assists to surpass Bobby Hurley as the NCAA’s all-time assists leader. Tipoff is at 7:35.
A couple of notable NFL retirements have been announced. Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson took to social media to say he’s hanging it up after six seasons in the league. Wilson was drafted by the Bengals in 2020 and was traded to Dallas during the 2025 season…Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton also announced on social media that he is officially calling it a career after spending the last three seasons as a free agent. Hilton was drafted by the Colts in 2012 and played in Indy until 2021 before signing as a free agent with the Cowboys in 2022.
The Colts are bringing back a member of their secondary. Indianapolis has re-signed cornerback Cameron Mitchell. He was originally selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Former Bengal and free agent signee Cam Taylor-Britt also spoke to the media this week. He said he is excited to be reunited with Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. Taylor-Britt played for Anarumo in Cincinnati.
