Connersville rallied to beat Oldenburg Academy 43-36 in boys basketball last night on WRBI. The Twisters fall to 4-3 on the season…Elsewhere, it was Jennings County over Franklin County 61-53…North Decatur went 1-1 Friday at the Bob Wettig Tournament in Richmond. The Chargers bested Seton Catholic 58-51, and fell to Warsaw 87-59 in the 9th place game.

Coming up tonight, South Decatur welcomes in Shawe Memorial.

In girls’ hoops on Friday, it was Batesville over Switzerland County 58-37…Madison knocked off South Ripley 62-41East Central lost to eventual champion Westfield 44-28 in the first round of the Lauren Hill Classic at Lawrenceburg. The Trojans toppled Beech Grove 53-22 in the consolation game.

Jac-Cen-Del and Oldenburg girls’ basketball will play varsity only tonight at the Feldhaus due to a lack of Eagle JV players. Tipoff will be at 6 and you can hear the game on WRBI. Coverage begins at 5:45 on 103.9 FM, wrbiradio.com and the WRBI app. The OA athletic hall of fame induction ceremony will take place at halftime of tonight’s contest.

Also on the schedule on this Saturday, Franklin County visits Triton Central, and South Decatur entertains Henryville.

In the NFL, the Bengals need a win against the Steelers in tonight’s regular season finale, and some help, to get into the playoffs. Kickoff in Pittsburgh is at 8:00…The Colts finish the season at home tomorrow against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That one will kickoff at 1 p.m.
