VERSAILLES, Ind. — South Ripley Elementary School will be hosting a celebration for Chris Perdue after his recent Gold Medal win at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria.
The event will be held on April 5 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM and everyone is invited to attend. Early last week, Perdue competed against athletes from all around the world.
In the Advanced Giant Slalom event, he challenged a total of eight athletes from New Zealand, Switzerland, Japan, Austria, Korea and fellow Team USA member Jeremy Beckham in his division.
Chris will be showing a slide show of his experience in Austria.
