South Ripley volleyball traveled to Switzerland County Tuesday. The Pacers played the Raiders tough, but Ripley returned to Versailles with a 3-0 victory: 25-20, 25-23 and 25-21.
“Overall, there was much improvement over the prior match at South Dearborn,” said Switz coach Olivia Hewitt. “The girls played better as a team, and for the first time, scored more points in a set where they didn’t have first serve than when they did. For our first home game, I was very pleased with their fire and energy against a very strong South Ripley team.”
Switzerland County reported stats:
Nora Hankins- 11 attack attempts with 4 kills, 91% attacking
Jaden Harrell- 9 attack attempts, 2 blocks resulting in points, 100% serving with 11 attempts
Hannah Hayes- 14 service attempts (93%) with 1 ace
Carly Bennett- 31 sets (100%), 8 service attempts (100%)
