SLS Track and Field Competes in Tri-Meet

St. Louis middle school track and field competed against host Rising Sun and Switzerland County on Wednesday in the final meet of the season for the Cardinals.

The Cardinal boys came in third with 12 points. Switzerland County was first with 84 points, followed by Rising Sun with 41.

St. Louis’ Henry Giesting placed third in shot put with a throw of 34′ 7.25 “, a personal record.  Simon Brelage came in fourth in the 1600 meter with a time of 6:16 seconds.  Ben Kranz placed fourth in the 400 meter with 69 seconds.  Blaise Frey was second in the 2400 meter with a time of 9:52.

The St. Louis girls came in third with 19 points. Switz came out on top with 69.5 points, while the host Shiners had 42.5.

The Cardinals’ Reagan Siefert placed second in the discus with 56’5″, and second in the high jump with 4’2.” Josie Frey came in third in the 800 meter run at 3:14, and was fourth in discus with 48’11”.  Lucy Brelage placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.81 seconds, and was third in hurdles with 21.13 seconds. Isla Padgett placed second in the 1600 meter run with 7:06.  Eloise Hamilton was fourth in the 800 meter with a time of 3:18.
