(Batesville, IN) – Third-grade students at St. Louis School were recently presented with dictionaries by the Rotary Club of Batesville.

The students received the dictionaries from Rotary Club President Donald Mobley, and member Nicki Hutchinson.

School leaders say the timing could not have been better because the club read Frindle, a book about creating a new word and getting in the dictionary.

“While students were exploring their new dictionaries, they began to notice some of our spelling words.  These dictionaries have also inspired our students to discover new words and have been a great help in learning to spell difficult words. Many thanks again to the Rotary Club of Batesville for giving us this wonderful resource and for your ongoing support of our students,” said school officials.
