Sixth-ranked girls basketball routs EIAC rival Rushville

The IHSAA Class 3A No. 6 Greensburg girls basketball team took care of business against conference rival Rushville Saturday night, defeating the Lions 72-25 at home. Leah West led the way for the Pirates with 26 points on 11-17 shooting from the floor. Carlee Adams scored 15 points, including 5-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Claire Larrison scored 11 points and gathered nine rebounds. Aly Powers scored 10 points. The Pirates (9-2, 4-0 EIAC) stay in conference play this Friday night against rival Batesville at home. A JV/Varsity doubleheader tips off at 6 p.m.
