
(St. Leon, IN) – The Sunman-Dearborn School Endowment Corporation is proud to announce the awarding of six $5,000 scholarships to East Central High School students from the Class of 2025 who plan to pursue vocational and technical education at trade schools.
Established in 2003, the Endowment Corporation has granted more than $4 million in funding to enhance educational opportunities for students, staff, and families throughout the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools.
This scholarship initiative, launched last year, underscores the Corporation’s commitment to supporting a wide range of postsecondary pathways.
Each of the six scholarship recipients will be eligible to renew their scholarship for a second year, for a total award of $10,000.
This program is part of the Endowment’s strategic efforts to invest in the future workforce and elevate the value of skilled trades in today’s economy.
