(Oldenburg, IN) – The Sisters of St. Francis at Oldenburg welcome visitors to tour the Motherhouse on December 27 from 6-8 p.m.
While visiting, guests will enjoy a wide selection of decorated Christmas trees and a variety of cultural holiday displays from communities the Sisters have served.
They can also enjoy a performance by the Sisters’ Chime Choir from 6:30-7:15 p.m. in the chapel.
As guests wander through the hallways and rooms, they will be sure to note the historic paintings and architecture that have been in place since the 1800s.
Visitors can witness artifacts from all over the world that were gathered on the Sisters’ travels and will also want to take time to talk to the Sisters to learn about their stories and service.
Don’t forget to visit the gift shop for unique handmade items. Finish with a sweet holiday treat in the Sisters’ Dining Room.
